Lanta IL Mare Beach Resort

There are several terraces with sea views where breakfast was served. There are several board games and a small library with books in many languages.The staff were very welcoming. Special thanks to Bee that suggested us many activities and places to visit adapted to our circumstances. It was great to chat with her also and get to know more about Thai culture and people.

The bathroom was a bit small and the shower wasn’t segregated from the rest. The facilities in general are not new but they are well maintained.

This hotel is my favourite hotel in Lanta. The staff treat you like family. They look after you so well and they’ve always got a smile on their face. Rooms are plenty big enough. We were a family of five with a triple and a double and it was absolutely perfect. They also offer a laundry service so it was really good to get all your clothes washed and dried by the next day.

Location is amazing, right in the middle of everything, but when on the beach or around the pool, you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.The staff are amazing, very personal, the massages are amazing too.

Couldn't fault anything. The only thing I didn't like was the soft pillow, but that's my personal choice.

Price and standard follow each other. The staff super helpful and so kind. Good value for money if you are looking for a few days at koh Lanta. Breakfast is okay, I would suggest fresh fruit juice, Thailand has so many nice fruits.

Kettle needs an immediate descaling!The room has pretty bad acoustic - you can hear all of your neighbors.

the location is excellent - right by the beach, and the pool was great. Breakfast was good.

I didn't like my bathroom. It was rather shabby and had a weird smell.

Staff at IL Mare Beach Resort are all super, friendly and very committed to their job. We had an issue with our AC and it was sorted quickly. Pool, dining, bar and Massage all available. Location on Khlong beach is great, walk to all the bars on restaurants along the beach. Yes we would return!

Nothing really. A bit more cupboard / clothes storage in the room would be nice. It would stop that “living out of your suitcase”.

Such a lovely place to stay for the location and the staff were so nice. The accommodation is so clean and in lovely surroundings. We would definitely return.

Rooms are old and "cluttered" with no fresh airflow or outside view.

The staff were incredible - helpful and friendly. The location is at the end of the beach in a quieter area, but only 5 mins walk to get to restaurants and shops, so it was perfect for us.

The only thing I would have liked was more Thai breakfast options.

Clean comfortable room, good location on the beach within easy walking distance of beach bars and resort restaurants and shops. Friendly and helpful staff. Very pleasant really enjoyed our week there.

Fabulous family who run this property. Exceptionally helpful and able to organise or advise on anything that was required - from local trips to transfers to Phuket. We were very grateful for their help, everything was seamless. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The location at the end of the beach, but close to a range of beachside restaurants was perfect, making for a lovely quiet stay, but anything we could want very close. The rooms are spacious, the staff, fantastic, and the breakfast very good.

Location, staff, cleanliness

Old fashioned bars of soap and shampoo sachets in the bathroom. WiFi was a bit unreliable

Homely feel. Comfy bed. Good shower. Beautiful peaceful room in nature. On the beach. Nice pool. 5 min walk to supermarkets and close to many decent local restaurants. Easy to hire scooters, book day trips etc. Staff are lovely and welcoming, even taxi ride from boat to hotel. Would definately return.

The only thing is there was too much chlorine in swimming pool, not so good for bleach blonde hair (slightly green tint). Advantage = clean swimming pool!

This is a family run hotel with wonderful staff and comfortable, clean rooms. The pool and beach are fantastic for everyone from families to single travellers.The hotel is a short walk to many restaurants,7-11 etc. We would definitely stay at Il mare again.

Great location, close to beach and lots of places to eat. Lovely breakfast, friendly staff.

Beds are a bit firm but not too bad.
